Of course, we know that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil but…it’s possible to gamble without the love of money, right? If you’re not facing a gambling addiction or getting caught up in the pursuit of wealth, games of chance are a harmless form of entertainment, right?
Is gambling a sin in the Bible? If I’m being honest, I wasn’t sure!
Because Jesus didn’t explicitly reference a lottery ticket, roulette wheel, or slot machines, it leaves us with a bit of a grey area. So I dove into hundreds of Bible verses to find out!
